Home town:
I am a former air force brat, so lived many places and met many little old ladies when I was growing up that shared their crafting knowledge with me. My Mom taught me to sew when I was 6 and I made all my own clothes until well after I was married. My teenage years were spent in California and in 1976 I came to Kansas, where I now live. I have a few friends over once a month to sew and talk quilts. I teach quilting techniques on in a one on one setting and charge nothing as that is the part of quilting traditions that appeals to me. I am the coordinator of the Maple Leaf Quilt Show put on in conjunction with the Maple Leaf Festival. I sell fabric out of my home and online.
