Georgia Quilt Show October 16 -18, 2008 Duluth, GA
Opening on October 16, 2008 at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia Quilt Show has been crafted to showcase the “best of the best” in quilt making. It will bring quiltmakers the expanded quantity, variety and depth they have been asking for into classrooms, the exhibit hall and quilt galleries.
From hand quilting to longarm artistry, needle turn and invisible applique, paper piecing to traditional techniques, Georgia Quilt Show will feature classes and workshops with leading quilt educators. A celebrity evening with Keynote speaker Marianne Fons of Fons & Porter’s Love of Quilting will open the show on Wednesday evening.
NQA Certified Judges have been engaged and it’s time to start giving some thought to which pieces you’ll enter in the show. Prize packages are being assembled and details will be announced shortly. Registration and class information, has been posted to our website www.georgiaquiltshow.com.
