Light Box
A translucent surface that is lit from below and is used for tracing patterns onto paper or fabric. Available in crafts or photo-supply stores.
Take & Trace is an affordable, portable light table especially designed for quilters. It is handcrafted in the Pacific Northwest and is 18" square, the perfect size for quilter's squares. The table supports itself on collapsible legs that fold inside the box. A slide-in backing closes the box when not in use and also provides a storage area. This makes it easy to transport or store conveniently at home with supplies for your project inside. The table has a white translucent surface and the light for the table is furnished by using your own portable Ott (tm) light or 15" under-cabinet fluorescent light that slides under the legs when opened.

You can make your own less costly light box with a large clear storage box and a under the counter type light , Just lay the light on the table put the box on top upside down plug in the light and trace away!
