Colonial Quilt Lovers will be having our first quilt show on April 18-19, 2009. It will be held at Knobbs Creek Recreation Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. It will open Saturday from 10 AM - 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM – 4PM. Admission is five dollars. Children under 12 are free if accompanied by a parent. The theme for our first show will be Quilting in the Albemarle-A Galaxy of Stars. Along with the quilt show, we are planning on having a guild booth, an opportunity quilt, silent auction, a children’s area, vendors, and quilt appraisals by Kathy Sullivan. Colonial Quilt Lovers would like to thank the women and men whose serve in the United States military. Any one who visits our show with a valid military ID card is eligible to register to win our Military Appreciation Quilt.
