I had a large peice of white fo-fur left from making x-mas stockings, I wanted to see what my first quilt blocks would look like togather so I used push pins and stuck it up on the wall it works great !!! 1  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

I use a table cloth that is vinyl on one side and light flannel on the other. I pin it to my wall to see what my design will look like and if I have to move it I just unpin it and roll it up! All the pieces stay in place until I get the chance to work on it again!! 5  out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

Glue sticks. I use glue sticks for about everything applique. I don't baste. Like the grandmothers flower garden. I glue the material on the hexagons, then just whip st. it up. Simple. I put my binding on empty thread spools and put the spools on a metal coat hanger that I take apart then once I put the spools on I work the wire back together. Just keeps it neat. I have to be organized to make the amount of quilts I make. I have a small room for a zillion goodies. It's still messy a little sometimes. 0  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
