Machine Tension
Jun 30 2007, 1:26 AM EDT
What should I set my sewing machine on to get the right tension when I am sewing the front, batting and back of the quilt together? 0  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

I would check with the machine's manual, but I frequenlty reduce the tension, then I experiment to be sure the stitches are in proper form. Try it on an edge and see how it goes. Also, because you didn't mention it, I would use a walking foot if you are straight stitching, stitching in the ditch ,etc. You won't find as many puckers below as you would with out it!! Hope this helps. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
